Chances are you've probably dreamed of making that trek to the "Land of the Midnight Sun," but have you?  Is this "the" trip put off because of time, money, kids or distance?  If you are here, then the time has arrived, the stars have come together and you are wringing your hands in anticipation.

If you are like me, you may find yourself spending time scouring books or the web looking for information on "all things" Alaska.  Perhaps you have found a few websites that have provided you useful information and a few that are just general, but you can't find everything you need to plan a trip in one spot.  This is fine, but there is one problem…Alaska is HUGE!  And, we have jobs, schedules and other limitations that put constraints on our time.  So, when we travel to a place like Alaska, then we need to make the most of this trip and explore everything possible in a well planned out vacation in a certain number of days.

The Alaska Adventure Travel Guide was inspired after answering similar questions regarding this great state.  People from all parts of the world, including Europe and Asia and the "lower 48" (as Alaskans call the Continental U.S.) travel to Alaska and have many of the same questions and concerns.  Questions such as "Where should I go" or "What can I do in a week or 10 days?"

Since people are naturally curious, I decided to put together some ideas and answers to assist you in planning an unforgettable adventure of a lifetime.  I trust you will utilize and benefit from this adventure as much as I have enjoyed putting it together for you.

If you are one of the lucky ones to make this incredible journey, then you will never be the same afterwards.  People from all walks of life leave Alaska with a deeper appreciation for this awesome land and the sheer magnitude and beauty of the last frontier and many have still not come down from the natural "high" that a trip to Alaska creates.  Get ready for an experience of a lifetime that will last a lifetime.
